As our "entertainment director", Cheryl thought we
should head over to Stouts and check the Stone
Pony band, seeing as how everyone raved about
them.

Knowing my less than enthusiastic response to
anything Springsteen, I was pleasantly surprised at
how tight and how good the horn section was. PLUS
- I just HAD to see how they'd get 9 people - plus
equipment - on Stout's stage.
The crowd was definately larger than we're
accustomed to seeing at stouts and the songs were
rapid-fire, with only an occasional break between
songs, to announce a bit of trivia about the next
number (usually: "This is a "B" side" or something of
that nature).

Still, it was a good band performance for a minimal
$3.00 cover.
